Orthopedic SurgeonFellowship Trained: Shoulder & Elbow

Dr. Kusin is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder and elbow reconstruction. A native Texan, he obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated with honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, then pursued a fellowship in shoulder and elbow reconstruction at the renowned Florida Orthopedic Institute. There, he received advanced training in shoulder and elbow surgery from world-class surgeons Dr. Mark Frankle and Dr. Mark Mighell, with a particular focus on managing complex primary and revision shoulder arthroplasty. He sees adult patients with all problems related to the shoulder and elbow, including arthritis, fractures, rotator cuff tears, dislocations, and other issues. Because many orthopedic problems can be successfully treated without surgery, Dr. Kusin reserves surgery as the treatment of last resort. Dr. Kusin strives to ensure complete, informed decision making for all patients. Whether you are seeking an initial consultation or a second opinion, Dr. Kusin will ensure that you receive the clarity you need to select the treatment that is best for you.
